Hirena is an AI-native hiring operating system. Search a verified resume database in plain language, create jobs in seconds, run AI video interviews at scale, and reach candidates across LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and email — all in one workspace.

Getting started

When you sign in, the home screen offers two starting points: Find candidates — describe who you need in plain language and search the resume database — and Create a job — set up a role and manage applicants through a pipeline.

The left sidebar is your map of the workspace: Projects, Jobs, Interviews, Messages, Talents, and Team. Everything you do lives inside a project, so your searches, shortlists, and conversations stay organized by role.

Projects

Projects group all the work for one role: searches, shortlisted candidates, outreach, and interviews. The Projects list shows each project as an expandable row with its candidate count and last-updated date.

• Click + New project to create one manually, or let your first search create it for you.
• Use the ⋯ menu on a row to rename or remove a project.
• Expand a row to jump straight to its searches and shortlist.

All about credits

Credits are Hirena's usage currency. Your plan includes a monthly credit allowance, and specific actions consume credits:

• Search — running a candidate search
• Retrieved email / Retrieved phone — unlocking a candidate's contact details
• Downloaded resume — exporting a candidate's CV
• Post job to LinkedIn — publishing a job externally
• AI interview report — generating Rena's structured interview report

Admins can set per-member credit permissions and see each member's balance and usage history on the Team page.

Search

Describe who you need in plain language — for example, "senior backend engineer with fintech experience in Austin, open to hybrid". Hirena understands intent, not just keywords.

Before running, Rena shows the filters she extracted from your prompt so you can confirm or adjust them. Results come back ranked by match score, weighing fit, experience, and culture signals.

• Add to job moves a candidate into a job's pipeline in one click.
• Contact opens outreach right from the result row.

Filters

Refine any search with structured filters — location, years of experience, education, current company, and more. Filters combine with your plain-language prompt rather than replacing it, so you can keep the intent and tighten the constraints.

Active filters appear as chips above the results; remove one to instantly broaden the list.

Profile view

Open any result to see the full profile: work history, education, skills, and the reasons behind the match score. From the profile you can:

• Retrieve email or phone — unlock verified contact details (consumes credits)
• Download resume — export the CV (consumes credits)
• Add to job or save to your Talent pool

Insights

Insights summarizes the talent market behind your search — how candidates distribute across companies, locations, seniority, and skills. Use it to sanity-check whether a role's requirements match the real market before you invest in outreach.

Search library

Every search you run is saved to the library with its prompt and filters. Re-run a saved search to get fresh results, or duplicate one as the starting point for a similar role.

Create a job

Create a job two ways:

• From a URL — paste a job posting link and Hirena imports the details.
• From a description — paste or write a JD, then click Generate and AI fills in the structured fields.

Review the generated title, requirements, and screening questions before publishing.

Job details

The job detail page holds everything about a role: the description, screening setup, publishing status, and its candidate pipeline. Publish the job to LinkedIn directly from here (consumes credits), or keep it internal and fill it from search.

Candidate pipeline

Each job has a pipeline table that tracks applicants and added candidates through stages. Move candidates between stages as they progress, and use the add-to-job flow from search results or the talent pool to grow the pipeline.

AI interviews

Invite candidates to a video interview with Rena, Hirena's AI interviewer. Rena runs a structured, roughly ten-minute conversation the moment the candidate is ready — any volume, any time zone — asking focused questions and following up on answers dynamically.

Every candidate is scored against the same rubric. When the interview ends, generate the AI interview report (consumes credits): strengths, gaps, communication style, job fit, and a clear recommendation — proceed, hold, or reject.

In-person interviews

For human rounds, Hirena manages scheduling end to end. Set your availability, send invites, and track upcoming interviews in unified calendar and list views alongside your AI interviews — one place for the whole interview stage.

Messages

The Messages view brings LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and email into one three-pane inbox: conversations on the left (sortable by time or by project, filterable by All / Unread / Replied), the thread in the middle, and candidate context on the right.

Connect your channels once — including Connect to WhatsApp — and every conversation stays attached to the role the candidate is in play for.

Batch messaging

Select multiple candidates and open the batch composer to reach them all at once. Pick a default template, and variables personalize each message automatically. Batch messages send through the same connected channels and land in the same unified inbox.

Templates & signatures

In Library → Templates, save reusable outreach messages with {{Variable}} placeholders that fill in per candidate. Templates appear in the batch composer's template dropdown.

In Library → Email signatures, manage signatures and set a default that's appended to outgoing email automatically.

Talent pool

The talent pool is your saved-candidate home base across all projects. Save promising profiles as you search, then pull from the pool when a matching role opens — your best finds are never lost to a closed search.

Team & roles

Manage workspace access on the Team page. Invite members with Invite user, and assign one of two roles:

• Admin — full workspace control, including team and credit management
• Recruiter — day-to-day sourcing, outreach, and interviews

For each member you can toggle whether they may consume credits, see their balance, and view their usage history.

Analytics

The Team → Analytics tab shows workspace usage over time: total credits used, a breakdown by action (searches, CV downloads, outreach contacts, AI interview reports, job postings), and per-member activity — everything you need to understand where your credits go.
